Parasolid Licensing Information for SimVascular

The current version of SimVascular requires the Parasolid library, a licensed component from UGS. Solid modeling will be enabled in SimVascular when you place the Parasolid .dll (Dynamic Link Library) and the Simbios Parasolid Driver files into the appropriate directories.

You can request either the Parasolid .dll (for users only) or the full Parasolid Development Toolkit (for developers who wish to program against the Parasolid API).

Academic Users should follow this procedure.

Commercial Users should contact Evan Knuttila. The type of required license depends on your intended use:

• Only using SimVascular internally in company
• Distributing products derived from SimVascular to others
